An old airport hangar in the middle of the Mojave Desert had been converted into a restaurant bar, which is now rundown and failing. In an attempt to rescue the place an employee suggests that Karaoke is the “in thing” and what they will need to attract customers from town. Since they don’t have the equipment to compete with an existing Karaoke bar the group decides to go Beyond Karaoke by creating an air band show where they perform Top 40 songs, complete with costumes and impersonations of the famous pop singers. With music ranging from Sarah McLachlan and Louis Armstrong, to Janice Joplin and Elvis. It is a high energy, family friendly, musical comedy and audience participation is encouraged.
