The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Life along the Mississippi in the 1840's was slow and quiet--for the most part.  Still, a boy growing up in those times could often find adventure and excitement, if he was Tom Sawyer, that is.  All of Tom's famous adventures are included, climaxing with the life-or-death battle with Injun Joe.

The Plight Before Christmas

The intrepid (and disaster-prone) community theatre group we met in Play On! last year is back!  Dire financial circumstances prompt them (again!) to produce a show by novice playwright Phyllis, this time with songs provided by her aspiring song-writer nephew.  It's a melodious and absolutely lunatic catastrophe, and everyone is bound to have a side-splitting good time!

Cookin' With Gus

Gussie Richardson, famous food author has been offered her own television show.  Her husband, Walter, is against it, and she discovers she has stage fright.  Everyone tries to help her get over it...Walter through hypnotism, Bernie, her agent through threats; and even wacky gypsy Carmen from next door.  Cookin' with Gus brings together four unlikely characters in a stew of hijinks and hilarity for the performers and a great evening for the audience.
